Meeting Selena - Part II

<Please read PART I before you read this part>

She turned her head towards me and looked me in the eyes. I could not feel the ground or any part in my body except for my heartbeat. The eye contact was so magnetic that one blink could stop your heart from beating. She smiled and whispered, “Yes”. Although, I already thought she would say yes, it made me kind of relieved when she said that. I took a deep breath. She pleaded me not to tell anyone around and asked me if I would take a seat. I agreed. She introduced me to other people who were with her. There were a guy and a girl with her who looked older than her, maybe 30-35. I started to chat with her. I don’t know why but I started to chat with her about her family and normal stuffs which I never thought I would do! I always thought that whenever I got a chance to meet any celebrity, I would talk to them about their creations, their looks and how much I appreciated them. That didn’t happen that day. She asked me about my family and my life and I replied. I asked her if she would like to meet my friends and she agreed. I got up and gave her may hand. She said, “Thank you” and held my hand and got up. I felt like flying holding her soft hands.

We walked to our table and I said, “Guys, this is Selena Gomez”. By the look in their eyes I could tell that some of them were like “HUH!” and rest were like”What the heck! How’d he get that beautiful chick this quick??” Later I came to know that only one of my friends knew about who Selena Gomez was. Rest all were in shock to see that pretty thing beside me. I then explained to them who she was. There was some introduction and little bit of chit-chat and bla bla stuffs for about 30 minutes. I could see that she was having a good time with us. I asked her if we could show her around the town. She said, ”Ummm…..Just a sec” and went to her table and I have no idea what she said to convince them but came back real quick and said, “Let’s go!”  We decided to take a walk and not go too far from the pub. She seemed very happy and excited and told us how much she loved to walk.

We started chatting and walking slowly. All of us were walking in a pact and making loud noise. I was a little worried that we would catch attention and someone would recognize her. There were people on the way that looked at her but nobody said a word. Who would have thought Selena Gomez would be walking down the streets with a bunch of local hooligans. At times I explained to her about the history of the buildings and places we came across and the other time we had random chat.

As we were having really good time, I gathered some guts to ask her something. I said, “So, you and Bieber hmmm….. Really?” She looked little sad and said, “What is with

Meeting Selena - Part I

This is a true story. This happened to my close friend whom I’ve known since many years and lives in Rome right now. If you are not ready to believe me, then you can stop reading. Here’s the thing in his words:

Let me first say something about myself. I am the type of person that believes that we should enjoy the present and we should not worry about the future. I have just finished my college and am enjoying happy few days until my job. That fine day, I was with my close friends at a famous pub of the country. It was around 19:30. We were all chatting, drinking and enjoying the night along with a beautiful melodious song being played in the background. The evening seemed endless with friends.

As we all were busy talking to each other, I took a moment to take a look around us. Everyone looked great and seemed to enjoy the evening with the song. Just then my eye got caught by someone familiar about two tables away. To my surprise she was the famous celebrity Selena Gomez. But no one was bothered that she was there and why would they be!  She had disguised herself in such a way that only one out of a hundred could recognize her. I was extremely shocked to see her today because last night, as I was using facebook, I saw a photo posted by her. It was a photo shoot for a perfume. She was inside an aquarium filled with perfume and her body was half submerged. The photo looked very attractive. I opened the photo in a new tab and started browsing all her other photos and “like-d” some of them. By looking at the photos, I could see that she was really cool with her fans. There were many photos of her with her fans. This gave me some hope that maybe I can go and talk to her. I was all set to go. I geared up myself and gathered all the courage I had. Then I thought of telling my friends first but the idea of “surprise” came in my mind. I said,” Just a sec guys, I’ll be right back.” They didn’t ask where I was going since all were busy laughing and mocking each other (Oh yeah! that’s how we are). I re-gathered my courage and lifted myself up.  I started to walk towards her step by step. It felt like miles to the table. Then all of a sudden, my inner voice came into action (I know right? I’m crazy) ! The voices rang inside my head, “Return…..No its not her….You are going to make a fool out of yourself….return!!!!” The voices had succeeded in changing my mind. I decided to go back. As I was turning around, I saw the most beautiful smile that I had seen in my entire life! I smiled back and said, “Hey!” I didn’t know what to do. I was in a pause mode. My brain stopped working. After a while of awkward moments, I thought to myself “Hey? Is that what I came for?” I lifted my legs from the ground where there was 9999.8 m/s2 of gravity and I went near her, I leaned and whispered in her ear, ”Are you Selena Gomez?”
